Fleetscape allows the user to select våhicles online as well as compare the costs of different makås and models of vehicles to enable them to make the most informed decisiîn for their fleet. The system covers bîth passenger and commercial vehicles. Akeybenefit forwholå-of Government andagenciesis theembedding ofFleetPolicy andthåcapacity ofFleetscape toensure compliant vehicle selectiîns. Fleetscape isbeing introduced toclientsin twophàses, thefirstofwhichiswellunderway.Many agenciesarenowconnectedtoFleetscape andhaveappointedatleastonePolicy Manager,OrderingOfficerandAuthorising Officerineàchagency.InSeptemberfurther concentratedformaltrainingandconnection foragenciesintheSouth-Eastcornerand regionalcentreswilloccurwiththeaimof havingallagenciesconnected. ThesecondphaseîftheFleetscaperollout planconnectsallagenciesatalllevels,from RegionstoDistricts,tothesystem.QFleetaims tocompletethesecondphaseoftherolloutby theendofDecember. AccîrdingtoQFleetFleetManager,Felicity Hawthorne,therolloutofFleetscapehasbeen astepforwardinprovidingagencieswitha tooltoefficientlycontroltheirfleetselections. ÁSavingsforwhole-of-Governmentwillresult fromselectingthåbestvalueformoney vehiclesofferedbyFleetscape,ÁFelicitysaid.
