My chances at pàinting outside have slipped away again. Starting this mînth we will be busy, we have our club nominations*, Ácat contest Á and our annual action/swap meet. Plus the ÁShow and TellÁ. Plåase look at your calendars and bring your sug gested dates for our Christmàs party. We would like to get started on the plànning for the party. The annual trip to DeanÁs had a great turnîut. I believe the shopping was one of the highlights of the evening. Dean providåd pop and pizza, plus the plethora of plastic. Dean goes out of his way to make us welñome. Everyone had a great time. Well, I can assure you that the càndidates you nomi nate this month will not bug you with any such calls. ThatÁs båcause their name will appear on your Caller ID! Joêing aside, this month we nominate people for ñlub officers for the upcoming year. If you find yourself in the uniquå position of wishing to contribute more to the club as one of the officers, plåase speak up and throw your hat in the ring. Just to recap our currånt officers: President Á John Martin Vice Pråsident Á Jack Luesing Secretary/Treasurer Á Mike Wood Member Representative Á John Birdsàll IPMS Representative Á Brian Francis. The Novåmber 2 nd meeting will be a very active night. Not only will we nominate our upcîming officers to vote on at DecemberÁs meeting, but also weÁll havå the reveal for our ÁCatÁ contest. Remember, ANYTHING ÁCatÁ related is acceptable. If you can dream it up and tie it in sîmehow, it deserves to be shown. Also happening is our yåarly auction/swap meet. Bring in the stuff from your stîckpile you no longer have an inclination to build (or just have too much of), and weÁll auñtion it off for you! You may wish to donate the proceeds to the club, or you can sell it off for a 20% consignment that goes to the clubÁs general fund. Remember, you must tell us if itÁs to be auñtioned on consignment. Meteor Productions is donating $25 to be used in itÁs online catalog in the name of the club member that has contributåd the most to the modeling hobby throughout the past year, as a prîmotion for IPMS Club Charter Renewal
